Winter horseriding with Dingle Horse Riding

One Hour and one and a half hour mountain Trek Itinerary
This trek takes riders up into the hills overlooking the beautiful Dingle Peninsula. You leave the Stables and follow an old country road through lush Irish farmland to a small hillside path that leads you up into the hills. At the top, there is a chance for more experienced riders to quicken the pace with a canter along the ridge while less experienced riders can enjoy the scenery and take advantage of an unmissable photo opportunity. The view is magnificent--behind you, the Brandon Mountain Range, in front of you a patchwork of green fields and the sea beyond. From here you head back to the Stables by a hillside path overlooking the town of Dingle and the busy harbour beyond.

Times = 11am or 2.30pm.

Cost €35 per person one hour, €50 per person one and a half hour.

This trek is intended for, but not restricted to, beginners.......

Two hour beach Trek Itinerary

You head down through Dingle town and out around the Harbour where you have a good chance of seeing Fungi, the Dingle dolphin. Down on the beach, in the shadow of ancient ruins, you can go for an exhilarating gallop along the shore before cooling off in the sea. You then make your return to the Stables via Main Street, passing pubs and restaurants that you might want to visit after your trek!
The beach is tide dependable, if the tide is high then an alternative route is taken down to the river.

Times = 11am or 2.30pm

Cost €65 per person.

This trek is suitable for intermediate and advanced riders only........

Winter is a great time to come riding in Dingle, its very quiet, peaceful and stunningly beautiful.

All our horses take a very well deserved break in winter time, each having a minimum of 2 months out to grass, so we keep a smaller selection of horses in work for winter.

Please Note:

Horse riding is a risk sport and handling horses can be potentially dangerous. We take great care to ensure that the horses and ponies offered to our clients are well trained and reliable, but they are hired to the rider with the clear understanding that YOU RIDE ENTIRELY AT YOUR OWN RISK.

All treks are subject to availability. Dingle Horse Riding reserves the right to cancel and/or reschedule any trek for any reason at any time. In the event that a cancellation is made, all deposits and/or any part of the total balance that has been paid will be refunded in full in the same manner in which it was originally paid.

These routes are approximate. Occasionally conditions dictate that they be changed. All itineraries are subject to change at any time and for any reason at the sole discretion of Dingle Horse Riding.
